Waterdown Victorian
6x6 Oil on canvas
Cold cold weather and bright sunshine add atmosphere to this house in Waterdown, a great victorian town up the hill from Dundas.

a welcome shot of hot colour on a cold winter day--I like the contrast of oranges and blues--funny when the image opened up, seeing the top portion only it looked like it was to be a summer painting--i find it fascinating that no matter the season, colours are similar-just the amount, how they are mixed and where they are placed make the difference.
Funny title for me! Last night I was watching "Family Under Construction" on HGTV about a family in Canada who bought a really rundown Victorian, and rain was running down the basement walls. Then, there was your title .. I love this house much more than theirs!
