I love these wet street at dusk paintings. Exceptional! Do you use a black gesso ground? And it's fun to find another Canadian painter. Cheers!

This is so beautiful. That this is primarily a dark value painting is rare. The reflections are so great!

I called my daughter over to show her these rain-drenched scenes, Catherine. She was thrilled! Your use of darks set you aside as a painter. Is there a big solo exhibition looming in your Christmas season?

Another wonderful rainscape - but the way you create them Catherine, makes such an inviting scene. Rainy days can be so damp and dreary yet yours have an inviting feel so that you want to snuggle-in and stare out the window!

Another beauty, Catherine. The angle of the car at right and the subtle sweeping strokes on the road surface take you right into this piece. Love the warm reflections of the headlights, too.

wow - ok - i'm just going to sum up in one comment - your wet & dark cityscapes - stunningly beautiful, moody, evocative, make me homesick (and i never knew i missed NYC!), rich deep & laden - i can't say enough about them - they're wonderful! the greys, the colors, the contrasts . . . thank you!
