very beautiful and atmospheric! I love the way the points of red draw your eyes all around the painting!
Catherine I really like the repetition of reds in this one and also the balance with the umbrellas.Your body if work looks so assured and confident--and fun! I like your recent colour explorations as well.
All the best for your show--everything will come together beautifully!
Really feel the rain Catherine! Handled the contrasts well too. Nice...
I really like the focus of light and the way the light from the red umbrella is showing on the white shirt..
Good luck next weekend Catherine. Look forward to hearing about your event!
CJ, This jumps off the screen, the backlighting, the white shirt and red umbrella. I have learned many lessons from you!
Fantastic reds in this one! Love the way it is reflecting off of everything. Outstanding job on that red umbrella shining down on the white shirt!
Nice work here, with those all important splashes of red, and the atmospheric light coming in from the distance.
Wishing you great success at the art show!!
Even though this is a test, do want to say once again - great little piece of art! With a marine layer going on here in San Diego, this is so appropriate for my weather.
The reds and the reflections in this just make it exceptional, Catherine.
My cousin is heading up to Toronto this Thursday, so I am sending him a link to your blog - hopefully he will get to where you are to see your work!
