Hamilton is still quite an industrial city, with two major steel mills on the Bay. Often when it rains, the air is cleared of pollution and leaves an amazing luminous quality to the light. This scene is from Macassa Bay Yacht Club.

The massive size of this oak tree isn't obvious until standing close by. This wonderful tree has stood across from District school for many years, and has provided shade for students during track and field events or a quick escape from phys ed or school.
