Connie the Sailor Cat

6x6 oil on board
Connie is a real sailor cat. She lives on one of the sailboats across from ours, and their boat has no spiders or bugs at all. Connie thinks she owns the dock, and freely jumps on to any boat that happens to be around. The way she "struts her stuff" I thought she would make a great match for Dreama's Eddy.
In this painting, Connie guards her boat, standing next to the spinnaker pole and a line tied to a cleat.

$100.00 plus $10.00 shipping

Beautifully done. Love the brushwork. A boat without spiders is my kind of boat.

Boat cats! Usually useful, and very nice to have around. Probably not many mice around that marina either! Lovely painting; I love the colors, especially those little bits of yellow-green that provide just a hint of accent.

Brilliant brushwork, and very lively colors.

If I lived on a boat, I would want a cat like this on patrol. Connie and Eddy would be perfect together.

Beautiful tones and brushwork. Rich and painterly. Yeah - Connie looks like a match for Eddie : )
