I wanted to do a busy city scene with wires etc. I have to say, I really had my work cut out for me with this one. It was really hard. Simply put. I don't know how many times I changed the color of the poles. And as usual, I still may not be done, but its time to get away from it and decide.

Nice one! Busy, but it's a city after all.
Now, I know Toronto is a nice place, and I know it doesn't rain all the time. When we sailed through there on our way to the Caribbean, we spent a few days in the islands in the harbor (forgot their names). Fascinating, and such lovely sunny but cool summer weather!
This painting is absolutely wonderful! It looks very complex. I could never even attempt to pull this off. I love your pictorial portrayal!

I have been out of touch for a bit - job hunting (to no avail) and spending time with my husband and son at the beach. I am trying to enjoy the summer and not get too stressed about needing a job.

I like this so much. It's fabulous and I have seen the scene so many times. Ah well, most of my portraits have about 10 faces under the one that wins out. Fact of painting life. You are really great.
