These Boots are made for walkin in the Rain

10" x 8"
Oil on Foam Board
This painting had the ground in diox violet and Trans earth brown. I often like to work on this background color.
This young woman was walking down a very reflected Queen Street in Toronto.

Your rainy day paintings are amazing. Does it really rain that often in your area? I have an image in my mind of you running for the door with your camera every time you hear thunder! You have found your niche!

Stunning - love it. ( I am drinking my Tim Horton's as I look at your blog today - somehow seems quite appropriate)

Actually, Carol, it has rained a lot this year. I love the rain, my husband hates it. But he is nice enough to be the umbrella/stuff holder while I run out the door "storm chasing".
Tammy, I got a real chuckle about the "drinking Tims". I'm still smiling!

I love seeing your process - as usual, another spectacular painting! BTW - I just gave you the Bella Sinclair Award for "Friendship, Sisterhood, Sharing and Caring." Thank you for your constant encouragement to me! (Check it out on my blog and pass on to 6 or more others if you have time.)
